My God America, Are YOU Ever Going to Wake Up?

Americans have lost over half of the value of their investments. Taxation is going to get unbearable. Inflation of a scale unheard of in this nation is in the cross-hairs. Jobs are going away to never come back. And all we get out of Washington is more massive debt, more rhetoric, and promises to be fulfilled on the backs of our children. Have you got the big picture?

When, in 1776, a band of rebels took to the Pennsylvania State House to hammer out the words of our Declaration of Independence, our nation was embattled with a tyrannical government who's only response was to ignore and repress the grievances. Our nation is once again under attack by the very government it created. There is one major difference, however, it is not the government envisioned a few years later when the United States Constitution was written and a government was formed. I offer that you read these words again and commit them to memory as they are unquestionably the most important words in the history of this nation:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
On November 29, 1775, Thomas Jefferson, the author of the above words, also committed these words as well to writing:
Believe me, dear Sir: there is not in the British empire a man who more cordially loves a union with Great Britain than I do. But, by the God that made me, I will cease to exist before I yield to a connection on such terms as the British Parliament propose; and in this, I think I speak the sentiments of America.
With that said, I offer you one of my OWN writings that you are free to quote:
I hearby charge, that as an American citizen, I love this nation beyond the love of any other man, woman, or child could ever love the United States of America. God did not create me to be a slave to the very government that was created by far more wise men than I, nor will I stand idly by as this nation is destroyed internally by the very government that was designed to protect the very freedom and liberty that is being taken from me incrementally and without my free will resigning it before my very existance is ended. I believe I speak the sentiments of not just myself, but speak the voice of countless millions of Americans.
Our Federal government is no longer listening to the American people nor are they interested in any ideas that will thwart their vision of an America in which personal liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government is no longer a core foundation of this nation. Their only purpose is to maintain control and power and to obtain that power at all costs with the ones bearing the financial burden of this government be damned.

Well, America, you can call it whatever you want, but this nation is moving toward Socialism, Collectivism, Communism, Fascism, or any other "ism" you prefer to use. Some call it "European Social Democracy" and others have different ideas. No matter what label you use, the facts are simple- the personal freedoms are going to disappear and it will happen in the blink on an eye unless "WE THE PEOPLE" reclaim the government as being what it was envisioned to be.

Men were not to be subjected to the taxation we experience. Men were not to be rewarded for sloth and gluttony on the backs of the taxpayers. Immoral acts were not to be tolerated and religious expression was not meant to be stifled with an extremism of hate and rancorous rhetoric. Free speech was not just "permitted", but a right of a free nation to experience at will and without restriction. Business was encouraged to succeed and government was not to be the hindrance to that success, but to support it's efforts by encouraging free commerce among the states. Government was not supposed to regulate every action of free men or women in what they would do to provide for their families nor be deterrents to preventing their success with a taxation method that punished the successful and rewarded those who desired mediocrity.

Our leadership we call "our government" no longer is striving to promote these principles, but instead, slowly and methodically, are removing the very freedoms we were God given. As human beings, we have the right to succeed and the same right to fail. We have the right, too, to approach our Congress with a redress of our grievances. Yet, our Congress is doing all it can do to ignore the people of this nation and push forth an agenda that will further erode our liberties and our freedoms to the point where our children and our grand children will never experience the United States of America we all love and cherish. Instead, they will be left with a mound of debt that will never be repaid even by their children and grandchildren.

It is time to stop being a Democrat or a Republican, a Liberal or a Conservative. It is time to be a member of the AMERICAN PARTY in which the belief that freedom and liberty is worth fighting for and building a unified voice for the preservation of this nation as envisioned by Jefferson, Madison, Adams, Washington, Franklin, and countless others who willingly gave their life to create and protect. We may sit in stony silence and never utter a word, or we may raise a voice to Washington that, to ignore, could lead to our demise as a nation. That is the choice we are facing at this very juncture in American history.

I therefore ask that you join me in another "Declaration of Independence" day. One that Congress cannot ignore and in as much if they do, it will mean the downfall of them ever being the representatives of the PEOPLE of this nation. You ask me how you can accomplish all of this without fear of retribution from our government? As ONE we are powerless, but as a multitude of voices, all united in one cause, we <em>will</em> make a difference.

The agenda is simple and our message is clear- we want our Country back from those who seek to subvert it into a nation in which freedom no longer belongs to it's citizens. We seek a nation in which government can no longer step outside the boundaries of the Constitution of the United States as it was written by our Founders. We want repressive taxation of our wages to end and government to live within it's means. We want a government who no longer dictates the successes or failures of industrious people, businesses, or industries to the point where their sole purpose is to fund government, rather than fulfill the God given right to succeed or fail without government control or interference. We seek smaller government without the capacity to redistribute the wealth of this nation to those who have no desire to contribute to it's growth and abundance. Most importantly, we seek a nation where it can no longer be a small minority of politicians who dictate to WE THE PEOPLE what we can or cannot do, but a nation in which WE THE PEOPLE tell our representatives what they will or will not do.

Will you join me in this collection of voices? If you will, then I ask that you comment below and to also send this page to everyone you know, every family member you have, and every friend you have heard complain about not being able to do anything about the government as we have it today. It is my hope that on July4th, 2009, that we are a major voice and one that Congress will listen to and listen with an ear that threatens their ability to dictate the agenda. This is the "American Party" Agenda and not one that should be taken lightly.

It took men putting their lives on the line on July 4th, 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was signed. July 4, 2009 does not have to be a day in which your life should ever be endangered, but a day in which we are AMERICANS who are more than willing to do so if asked so that our children and grand children can understand that Liberty and Freedom were cherished, God given rights.

I ask with great anticipation that you will join me and I believe that there are just enough of "us" that we can and will make not just a small difference, but return this nation back to the greatest nation God ever created. Our numbers can grow exponentially and when we have the voices, we can petition Congress for the very Constitutional RIGHT to a redress of our grievences.

This choice is yours and yours alone. It took brave men in 1776 to make a difference. It takes brave Americans to make a difference today.
